Session Design
Citadel runs are designed around short, high-intensity loops that can fit into a break while still adding to long-term progression.
Squads should be able to gather intel, breach, and extract without requiring multi-hour commitments.
World State
Territorial control, fort upgrades, and faction pressure are all persistent. Every run contributes to a larger world map that changes throughout the week.
This makes local tactical wins matter at strategic scale.
Combat and Roles
Combat pacing is tuned for readability and teamwork. Roles have clear strengths so coordinated squads can plan entries and exits.
Early prototypes are focused on reducing dead time and ensuring players quickly re-engage after each mission.
Roadmap Notes
Next milestones include expanded map sectors, progression balancing, and larger playtest cohorts.
Launcher delivery and onboarding are being refined to reduce friction before the next test wave.
